Our Services

It is a proven fact that children are most vulnerable to negative behaviors if they are unsupervised during the hours when they not in school. This leaves many working parents with a dilemma. Most childcare options are costly and largely unregulated. That is where the Boys & Girls Clubs offers working parents a solution. Each Club provides a safe place for children to spend their time after school, during the summer and during intersession. But, the Clubs also offer much more than just childcare. Each of our seven locations provide a wide variety of programs that challenge our young people and help them become responsible, caring members of our community.

Programs That Work

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry nurture young people’s self-esteem by instilling in them a sense of belonging, usefulness, influence and competence. We do this daily by providing young people with one-on-one relationships with caring adult professionals and fun, age-appropriate, well-rounded programming in five core program areas: Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, The Arts and Sports, Fitness and Recreation. Our programs range in scope, are nationally tested and provide proven results.
